Song because of me is jams I love it! Full of melody, kickin Beat, full of excitement, life and I wonder why these guy's are not currently on the radio nationwide! The singer Tom Gabel shows some real talent in his songwriting on this song! Bands that are out there listen to this band and realize just how hard this mountain of getting to the top is! I don't know the current status of the band and to me it's not important! What I know is they rock hard enough to cover and feature them on our site!

 

 

 

 

Tom Gabel, Andrew Seward. James Bowman, Jay Weinberg with a list of prior record labels and band mates it sounds like to me the band has been through hell and back and still has held onto the energy and love of the music to make it through. I read up off wikiepedia about the band and I was amazed at the history of this act. I've heard of bands living in their van like the goo goo dolls did before the song name broke the band into the limelight. When I was reading everything the band went through.

 

 

 

 

The band made it to the top with Sire records only to Part way's and form their own label and Studio! This to me seems to be the trend of bands that have the ability and talent to make things happen like Against me. They just recorded the band Cheap Girls at their own studio total treble studios! I must say it sounded great I was amazed at the sound they got out of their studio!

 

 

 

 

 

 

I think bands are tired of record labels making things a one sided situation and I can't blame those who are ultra talented for taking drastic measures and sticking up for their creative futures by opening their own studio to record their projects. Beyond recording yourself you can make a solid income from the business end of the business by recording other bands which sky is the limit to what you can achieve with a real studio at your disposal.

Our first year of shows was just like us showing up, me and Kevin and unloading my acoustic guitar, and Kevin unloading his drums; which was like this weird home made kit, and people were like 'What the fuck is this?' and making fun of us. No one liked us at first, and now there's all these people saying 'I've loved you since Vivida Vis!.' No, you didn't. No one liked us when Vivida Vis! I was around. I was there at the shows! There were TEN people there, what are you talking about? I know you weren't there... It's awesome to play something that would make somebody happy to hear. But sometimes there are songs that we don't necessarily play anymore, and when people ask for 'em it's like 'God, we don't want to play them anymore.' I'm sure people in the greater Florida area thought it was cool and hip to talk about the band like they knew them or something! Funny to see a singer tee off like that but hey it's honesty! So the band make it from playing acoustic shows, to the indie labels, to the majors, to owning their own record label, recording studio and I'm sure they couldn't be happier!
