Contraband stars Mark Wahlberg and Kate Beckinsale. Its a pretty fun filled action movie with a nice twist. The wife and I figured out the twist which takes the value down in the movie but nevertheless a good watch! There is a lot excitement and good spots. The movie was shot well and acted well. It was directed well also. Well, well, well, cinematically it was well, good! I like Mark Wahlberg in pretty much everything he does including Rock Star (even though that movie was weak). Its an interesting storyline.

Wahlberg plays a former smuggler who is out of the game for awhile. He has went straight and started his own business, Farraday alarms. His wife has a little brother who gets involved with smuggling and screws up bad, real bad! He ends up owing this dude 700k and almost gets killed for it. Farraday comes to the rescue! He goes to see his smuggling father in prison (piney from S.O.A.) and sets up his own score to repay his brother in laws debt. I won't tell you anything else but overall I would rate the movie a 7.5 out of 10.

Check it out if you like action flicks, its worth it!
