I dream about having a Large beer in Iceland listening to a Kick ass band that blows my mind! Um Yes and I then 20 Icelandic Super models to follow me to a hot tub where I drink from this NEVER ENDING VIKING MUG OF COLD BEER IN THE HOT, HOT, HOT TUB With 20 Icelandic Super models! Yes I dream about their Pale skin looking like snow, the steam rising from the hot tub and the Cold Icelandic brew going down like Heavenly water!

I imagine after a fun night of listening to this band from Iceland the woman all listening to my stupid stories and finding me funny and interesting! Yes, Dreams are wonderful they really help us continue through the boring moments of life at times! Ok back to Iceland, I almost said IRELAND, humm... Yeah just a weird day but then a again working with artists, new bands, and covering the world one needs to have an open mind and well to do that on a constant basis can make on strange. Ok, about Iceland and the music scene.

I figure if I  mess up enough in life and become Broke and single I can always go to someplace like this and find a patch of land build a nice Old school rock home with a grass roof and carry on without missing a beat! I'm ready for a change but somehow no matter how bad I fuck up things always look good here in the U.S So I guess I will stay. I mean who knows in other countries it's hot to be older and have a belly so I may be in for a pleasant surprise in another country never know! Well for now I list in the USA So I will stick to reporting about other places and how the music scene is there but just saying it's not always mortgage payments, car payments and bills! I'm sure I would get tired of life In Iceland over a while I mean building your own home and bartering for things could be like work but hey we all need a change of pace somehow! I play bass maybe band in the village would need me never know! Maybe I could become a bar tender but I think they would fire me for consuming too much of the product well who knows maybe I should stay where I'm at.

Icelandic music that's happening includes many bands and artists, ranging from pop-rock acts like  Á Móti Sól Rockstar: Supernova Magni's band, Quarashi, Bang Gang, Amiina, to solo ballad singers who sound like angles singing from the skies  Bubbi Morthens, Megas, Björgvin Halldórsson and Páll Rósinkran. Reggae band Hjálmar and Bulgarian indie-folk band are just a few stand outs on the scene. Stórsveit Nix Noltes and many others make Iceland's Music scene something to think about when it comes to jamming your I-Pod full of new music that's out of the box but cool. There claim there is no metal and hardcore scene but I'm sure that's a bunch of bullshit! Does anyone know of a death metal or hardcore band from Iceland we want to know so we can prove the pundits wrong! Bands Sólstafir and Changer, and a casio-punk-pop scene spearheaded by Pool Party Make Iceland I predict a new place of International wonder. Iceland and Detroit Michigan have a few things in common which is an odd thing to say but we are ready to shock the world and where there's quit lay's the next big thing so Iceland and Detroit are ready to blow!

The indie scene is also very strong in Iceland, and bands like as múm, Sigur Rós, the quirky folk/pop singer Hafdís Huld, solo artist Mugison are known and growing in popularity out side of Iceland. The most famous Icelandic artist singer and composer Björk Who I believe allegedly If I recall had a few moments of flying off the turnip truck and going off at the media. Who knows and who cares I can hardly recall what happens to the famous people but hey it's worth talking about I think anyways more about Iceland oh Yeah shit she is from there. Experimental indie bands like Hjaltalín and Benny Crespo's Gang are catching on at a feverish pace! GusGus frontman Daníel Ágúst is currently collaborating with punk rock star Krummi from Mínus, forming the raw duo Esja is just a glimpse of what Iceland is a place to watch for music. The electronic scene in Icelandic music has also widened its audience Grittier electronic bands such as the widely acclaimed band Steed Lord who say they are the Gangsters of elctro Music what ever the hell that means! This group rising in the "Gangsta electronic music scene" I'm sure will be Years away from hitting it big in the states but when you have a country all to yourself why leave right!

With a population of just 300,000, Iceland is the most sparsely populated country in Europe, and over half the natives reside in its capital of Reykjavík Why not Iceland! I'm thinking of visiting there after My Caribbean cruise coming soon! I love Canada that's a fun place that I've partied and been to! The culture there is fun, the woman are hot and the beer will get you really going since it's twice as strong as the american beer!
