Dion started the days leading up to the show in the gym building muscle and stamina. "Its the best way for me to start my day in here. Gives me a good feeling inside and out. My energy goes up." He did a range of free weights and machines followed by a game of basketball with fellow gym members. Cardio activities are important especially when he dances during his performances. 

 

The rest of the day was full of making calls to make sure all was in place for the show and organizing the attire the dancers as well him would be wearing. Currently Dion is being sponsored by Lamar Landers with his clothing line KOCKY KLUB, so it was a matter of choosing the styles and colors. In the end they made a good choice with the selection.

Viewing in on the dance rehearsals was by far my favorite glimpse into his journey. Practice lasted roughly 4 hours this particular night. They wanted to perfect every move and feel comfortable with the plan at hand. Just in the first 10 minutes I could already see the star power of Dion- each move, each note was performed like he was in front of thousands of people. He never snapped out of this. By the end of rehearsal they all felt good and saw all smiles. I went home that night feeling excited for all that I had seen and eager to see all the work put into action on the Hart Plaza stage.

There is nothing I love more than to see an artist love what they do and dedicate themselves to the art.  We full agree with Dion's management and we thank them for a view of what to prepare, create and be a R and B Super star in the making. I think we take it for granted that people always sang that good, or they were just born with the abiity to dance like that! Truth is people Like Dion spend countless hours of blood, sweat and preperation to make the live performances the best they can be!
