The September 28th show at the Jazz Café, Detroit was nothing

short of a success. The Hear Me Now, R&B Detroit Live showcase

headlined artist Dion Price and featured other artists such as

Kendall Day and MirImage.

The setting was classy, the people were happy and the music was exhilarating.

Dion Price kicked off his performance with a powerful entrance using a sound

mix of guns and robotic movements, dark shades and an all black

outfit. Within 2 seconds, the whole crowd was hooked and he

would reel them in for the next 30 minutes. “Hands Up”, “TYT”

and “Once You Know My story” were performed as well as two cover

tracks.

His most powerful performance was his cover of “Hurt Me” by Luke James. He was accompanied by a pianist and just a standing mic. The words were strong, his vocals were intense and he hit every note perfectly. The performance was very

personal, and left a few listeners with tears rolling as he hit every note. As a viewer and a fan, this was by far his strongest performance yet.

Dion left the crowd speechless, and with blank stares; amazed by his raw

talent. By the end of set, people surrounded him, reaching to shake his

hand and take photos.The venue was full of smiles, flashes and god

vibes. Dion is set to hit the stage again this Thursday at The Ritz,

Detroit- 11pm for a music competition.
